The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) is seeking to contract an Albanian institution to facilitate and support the implementation of the National Cleaner Production Programme (NCPP) in Albania. The NCPP is jointly implemented with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) within the framework of the One UN Albania Programme (www.un.org.al). The NCPP is aimed at fostering the uptake of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) methods, practices, technologies and policies, through capacity building, industry demonstrations and policy advice.

The successful tenderer is expected to deliver professional and secretarial services, office, meeting and training facilities, and logistical support for the implementation of the NCPP activities in collaboration with the National Programme Director and national and international short term experts. The contract is open to not-for-profit or other public Albanian institutions that have demonstrated experience in implementation of technical assistance or international collaboration projects and in delivering environmental management and/or business development services to Albanian businesses and other organizations.
