The Monitor Research Center in collaboration with the UNDP Albania is organizing a presentation on results from a Baseline Study on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Practices in Albania. The baseline study is part of a regional UNDP project - CSR Western Balkans Survey. Following the presentation, a panel discussion will address challenges to developing a business case for CSR; as well as provide a platform for debating CSR application and opportunities for alignment of public-private efforts in promoting CSR. The overall aim of the UNDP CSR Western Balkans Survey project is to survey and to assess the level of CSR practices in the countries in Southeast Europe (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Serbia). Being the first comprehensive CSR study in the region, the project maps out CSR activities amongst various stakeholders; it further identifies capacity gaps and corresponding areas of interventions. Based on the survey, five national reports and a synthesis regional report covering all the countries involved provide not only facts but also deeper analysis of CSR at the regional level.
